SAS understand that the decommissioning of Data Centre equipment presents many challenges, predominantly due to the weight of some data equipment and the environment that it sits within. The team at SAS provide solutions for the decommissioning, removal, transporting and installation of Data Centre equipment using the years of experience gained to ensure the safe and secure removal of equipment. To ensure a successful outcome SAS attend the Data Centre to carry out a site survey. Once a full understanding of the requirements and challenges is gained they design the solution and provide Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) for agreement.
SAS have all the equipment and expertise in-house to provide a complete solution including; floor protection, technically competent staff, specialist lifting and moving equipment, vehicles and experience to deliver a professional solution whatever the size of the task.
Client Testimonials
I have worked with SAS for the last three plus years on collections from Barclays sites across the UK. SAS have collected IT hardware from our Primary Tier 4 data centres, Campus sites and Branch network. Every collection is planned and carried out with ease and with the customer in mind. The team will go the extra mile to ensure all hardware is collected regardless of any access/space constraints at site and site working hours. I have no hesitation in recommending SAS for any contracts that they tender for and look forward to working with them in the future.
